Conference successfully realized


In the reading room of the Art Department in the Belgrade City Library on 10 and 11 December 2015, an international conference “Library Services Tailored for the 21st century customers : the use of ICT in libraries”. Its place at the conference found a total number of 135 participants from 8 countries. Welcoming speeches were addressed was Jasmina Ninkov, director of BGB, Matthias Müller-Wieferig, director of the Goethe Institute and Vladan Vukosavljevic, City Secretary for Culture. The conference was opened by the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Tasovac. During two days three keynote and 16 twenty-minute lectures were given as well as two commercial presentations. The atmosphere of the conference can be viewed at picture Gallery.


Welcome to Belgrade City Library on ICT2015 Conference

Belgrade City Library is organizing a conference “Services tailored for 21st century library clients: use of information-communication technologies in libraries” on 10th  and 11th December 2015.

Belgrade City Library will gather library and information experts as well as ICT professionals under one roof. The main objective of the conference is to draw attention to the possible use of available technologies and products. ICT provide excellent base for introducing additional services for library users along with maximum rationalization of existing resources.
